  Perfect is how I would describe the Yoake .My husband and I spend our holidays travelling around Europe on our motorbike staying at hotels and b and b,s and I can honestly say it is the only place so far that we have given 10 out of 10. The owners,Michael & his wife were the perfect hosts and were always friendly,helpful and accomodating.The lovely breakfast was brought to us every morning at a time of our choosing and was very good quality.Fab room with satellite tv, free movies, well stocked drinks fridge and an eco wood burning stove.We loved our stay, and would readilly recommend B&B Yoake as one of the very best we have stayed in.Thanks Michael for your hospitality!

  This was my first time in a B&B on the continent, although a seasoned traveller, I usually find myself slave to the Accor hotel chain. On arrival, we were welcomed at the door by Peter who has to be the friendliest hotelier ever! We were shown to our rooms and breakfast was arranged completely around us. We opted for the continental breakfast ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » which was buffet style but plentiful and varied. On top of this Peter was there to offer us eggs as we liked and bacon. The rooms are quite spacious a - Handy for the main square for dining, the Cloth Hall in the centre of Ypres and an easy walk to the Menin Gate. A warm welcome, nice cooked breakfast at a time to suit the guest not the Hotel. The picture in the dining room of two stone masons working on the lion that sits on top of the Menin Gate took on a whole new significance when Peter told us that the stone masons were his great and great great grandfathers. No reason not to stay here again and probably will

  Accomadation was within easy walking distance from Ypres. We received a warm welcome and thought had been given to the 'little touches' to make our stay more comfortable. The room itself was really nice and although I am funny about sleeping in other peoples beds the accomadation was really clean and allowed for a good nights sleep regardless of m... τι λέει ο κόσμος » y weird ways. Our stay ended with a really nice breakfast - good value for money and we would stay there again :) - Roger and Muriel welcomed us warmly into their home. We had a spacious room with a large comfy bed,a balcony and aircon. The cooked breakfast set you up for the day, the continental offered you so much choice. It was so interesting to meet others of various nationalities around the table at breakfast. Don't miss Roger's Battlefields trip..it was worth every penny. Free parking outside and a 5 minute walk to the centre. A little gem!

  Our hosts Katrien and Steven were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, and spoke very good English. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the house was beautiful. We would definitely stay there again.   Seeking a romantic night away for 2, we stayed in Natalie and Pieter’s Ypres B&B early September. Having been totally awe struck by the beauty of Ypres and finding the B&B just 2 minutes walk from the main plaza in a quiet side street, we were equally delighted with both the location and welcome we received at Fields of Gold. The warmest of welcomes with very useful advice on Ypres itself and places to go, eat etc Stunning breakfast feast well worth the money.   The hotel is well positioned in the center. Jo, the owner, is an excellent lady. She is very kind, helpful and caring. It's hard to find taxis in Ieper, so she offered me a ride to train station. Breakfast is fantastic. The rooms are quite cosy and modern decorated. Definitely restay if I'm back to Ieper. - It was a Band B but we had access all d... τι λέει ο κόσμος » ay. It was very spacious and we were well looked after. The owner was incredibly helpful by organising and recommending trips restaurants etc. we would definarely go again.
