Location is magnificent, the hotel is beautiful and very luxurious - I only wish we could have stayed more than one night to enjoy more of the facilities (we were in the area for a wedding)

As an Events Manager I had traveled from nz to organised a ladies night

We found the hotel to be great - its location, staff, and comfort would be hard to beat. We certainly will be returning. The room we had was a corner room that faced out to the park which was lovely and it also had a extremely comfortable bed. The full breakfast available in the dining room had everything anyone could ask for from hot porridge through to bread and butter pudding with whipped cream. My fiancé and I recently celebrated our honeymoon at the Shangri La. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We received an early check in which was greatly appreciated after 24hours travelling from the UK. We also received a complimentary bottle of champagne & chocolates to celebrate our special occasion.

Having been to Sydney several times staying at different hotels each time (4 or 5 stars),we always break up our stays with two hotels for variety. The Intercontinental on Circular Quay had the most professional,helpful and friendliest staff of all the hotels we've stayed at in Sydney. loved the location perfect for access to see the Opera Carmen at Mrs Macquaire :Point. Loved being able to walk through Royal Botanical Gardens (had a picnic) and easy acces to shopping with the free green bus just up the road. Our view from 2218 was excellent - we were really thrilled.
Big thanks to the Conceirges who made our requests for massages and restaurants easy. Great service from front desk check in and out, umbrellas on the rainy days and help with suitcases. Just the best experi

Very comfortable and quiet hotel in an excellent location. Staff offered us a reasonably priced upgrade to a harbour view room which we accepted. Beautiful room on a high floor and lovely view. Great bathroom with separate shower which I prefer. We had a room service late snack which arrived promptly. Quality of food was average but as we only had the mushroom soup other options could have been tastier. Breakfast was fantastic with many choices for a a wide variety of cultures.

Loved the lay-out and the proximity of everything. We had privacy but not far to walk to any of the pools or the bar/restaurant.
The receptionist on a Friday night / Saturday (not sure of her name but she has 3 young sons) - she was awesome! Very friendly, helpful and a real delight to deal with.

I loved the facilities. There was a huge selection of things to do including the pool, spa, sauna, pool table, table tennis, tennis court, guest lounge, bar, restaurant, etc. Fabulous! Our room was also larger than we expected it to be.

Location is great. Walk past the restaurant to a terrific beach, good for kids at the south end, surf fishing at the north. Ambience amongst nature is sensational and the layout beautiful.

Very helpful staff. The location with access to the beach was a great surprise and we loved sitting in the garden bar with beach views. The whole set up with rainforesty walks to get around made for a really great atmosphere/ambiance. The meal we had on site was excellent. Would definitely go back.

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The pool/spa was just bliss to use at the end of a tiring day up the mountains! The Harvest restaurant served quality food and had a lovely atmosphere, again with great staff. Whilst the Gazebo restaurant was perfect for breakfast and very well managed. The overall surroundings were beautiful

When we requested a different room, the receptionist handled it in a
friendly, efficient manner. Very impressed in general with the staff.
Although young, they displayed confidence and a thorough knowledge of
their roles. Spa options were very good. -
Rooms were clean and comfortable, location was great and spa and pool area were great!
