With a 3 year old who loves water the pool was brilliant. The location of the units was also excellent being just 75 metres from the beach and 5 minutes walk into town. It was very quiet being off the main road and the upstairs rooms are shaded by treetops. -

Not normally the type to be compelled to write reviews, however my
experience here was so fantastic I feel the need. I even stayed one
extra night because it was just what I was needing at that point in my
journey. The little extras that went toward making my stay really
memorable are too numerous to list, but the tasteful décor throughout..

This is a truly great hotel and location simply cant be better.
A very helpful and nice staff, free parking and much more is free for you to use like bikes, ipads and laptops, beach towels, umbrellas and toys, dvds and books.
Rooms are clean and lovely. Well aired and air conditioned. We stayed in one of their Cosy rooms that had a kitchenette with microwave, fridge and everything you need to cook including plates and dishes and cutlery.
There is also a swimming pool and a grill for you to use

The Outrigger Apartments were very well located for both the town of Port Douglas and the beach. The living area in our two bedroomed apartment was spacious and well equipped and the apartment itself was all that we needed for our stay. The Owner /Managers were very helpful and welcoming. We would have no hesitation in recommending this accomodat

Very helpful staff, great position. Good value for money. Rooms were very clean and bright. Really appreciated extra touches such as free use of beach umbrellas and chairs as well as kids toys. Thanks for making our first day at Port Douglas so memorable.

Stayed here for four nights in October would have loved longer. Checked
in late after reception closed our lamps were lit tea coffee and milk
left for us and radio playing relaxing music! Next day Sue was so
helpful and organised trips to Daintree and the reef suited to our

Verandahs is in a great location, so close to everything, no car needed.
Older children can safely move between Verandahs, the shops and the beach on their own.
Sue was a real pleasure to meet and very helpful.
The two bedroom, two bathroom apartment was spacious enough for 4 adults and well equipped.
Overall stay was really relaxing.

The location is the best in Port Douglas. The rooms and facilities are luxurious and very comfortable. We stayed in a penthouse suite and couldn't have been happier. Pip and Trevor were very welcoming, the pubs, restaurants, and shops are right there at the front door step. It was a great place to stay with all the facilities you need. No need to have a car because you can walk every where.!! -

The appartment is furnished and finished to a very high standard and was very well equipped. A large private patio area next to the pool was great for relaxing at the end of a day. Very close to the beach and a reasonable walk to the restaurants and shops in town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient underground parking. Highly recommended,

What a beautiful holiday we had at Mandalay. The appartment was spacious and well equipt and the outdoor area with sun lounges is a perfect way to spend an afternoon. Staff were amazing and ever so helpful and its beachside location was ideal for a little peace and quiet.

Stayed at VSM first two weeks of October. A beautiful spacious apartment in A Spanish style; clean and cosy. Excellent location right in the heart of main street, with shops and restaurants a short stroll from the apartment. Apartment was very comfortable and clean, and perfect for a relaxing stay. Host was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Anne, the host was, very welcoming and was very very helpful with advice regarding eating, shopping, tours etc plus explaining all the things available at the Freestyle Resort. The room had everything we wanted to make our stay comfortable. It was only a block away from CBD which meant it was quiet and also there was a short forced exercise/walk every time we wanted to go somewhere which was good.In summary! A good all rounder.

Sheryl and Bob are excellent hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them
and they are always willing to have a chat and pass on their experience
of port Douglas and the activities in North Queensland.
The room is enormous! Lovely king sized bed. Good lounge and dining facilities. The hot Tub on the balcony was an unexpected bonus.
The pool area is very nice although there are some quite big and unexpected drops in the pool floor levels.
Regal is ideally placed 25m off Macrossan St. It is a 3

The friendly relaxed atmosphere and such helpful members of staff! The restaurants food was delicious and very well priced. Only 4 beds per dorm room and as not peak season the lodge spread us out so we had rooms to ourselves. (One was given to a couple who I met in cairns whilst I was given a seperate one....really thoughtful). 10 main walk to to

The staff are excellent, chap I talked to used to run a 5 star hotel but now just works part time. Has kept his customer service level though. Handy tablets to borrow at no cost if you need to use internet. Good facilities easy 10 min walk into Port Douglas

The owners were truly wonderful, helping us with bookings and ideas of activities. They posted the weather forecast every day, and had free wi-fi by the office. The apartment was large and comfortable, and everything worked well. Location was great, cross the street and within a block you are on the main promenade one direction or 4 mile beach

The owner was very pleasant and when we arrived allowed us to choose between two apartments available. The two bedroom apartment we chose was very comfortable and roomy. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. and the washer and dryer were an added plus. We would definitely return to Marina Terraces if ever in Port Douglas again.

Excellent place to stay and relax in Port Douglas. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and this made all the difference. The facilities are very good (pool, laundry) and the location is within walking distance of Port Douglas attractions. -
