Overlooking the historic Long Bay shoreline and the Southern Ocean, these houses are situated just 50 metres from the ocean and are surrounded by peaceful native gardens and bird life. All houses offer magnificent views and a fully equipped kitchen. Port Arthur Classic Cottages are located within 100 metres walk of each other. Each house offers easy access to pristine beaches, the penguin colony and walking tracks. It is just 2 minutes' walk from the Port Arthur Lavender farm, which features an onsite restaurant and coffeeshop, and 60-minutes' walk from the start of the beautiful 3 Capes Track walk. All houses and cottages include a spacious living area, patio, BBQ and reverse-cycle air conditioning. Each includes a private bathroom with a shower. Some houses also have a wood heater. There is a public laundrette less than 5 minutes' drive away. Classic Cottages are 4 minutes’ drive from Port Arthur Historic Site and 6-minutes' drive to the Tasmanian Devil Unzoo and Federation Chocolate Factory. The restaurants of Port Arthur are less than a 5-minute drive away.

Such a lovely location and view. The cottage was extremely comfortable, and the location was very convenient after spending the day at Port Arthur Historic Site. Denis was a wonderful host and was very helpful providing information about the area and places to visit. He told us about several beautiful places to visit that we would have had no knowledge of without him. Overall fantastic place to stay, would highly recommend it!.
όλα τα σχόλια » We lived in a self-contained accomodation which inlcuded the cooking utensils. It also had air-con/heater. Everything was good during the stay. The cottage owner ,Denis, was so nice that he would recommend things to do in Tasmania. He sent us a email with all the useful information. It is also close to the Port Arthur Historic Site which takes around 5-minute driving. The peacefullness. You have your own cottage with plenty of room. It's like taking a step back in time where everything has slowed down. You can relax with a glass of wine or a dinner for two while overlooking stunning water views, surrounded by the tranquility of the forest and bushlands. Bonus! It's pet friendly. Denis was very friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean and tidy and good value for money. It had eveything a self contained cottage should have and is only a few minutes out of Port Arthur. Handy to all the tourest areas in the vicinity. I'll be recommending it to friends heading to Tassie. Nice for a family, there were games provided for children, and everything you could want in the kitchen. Views were lovely, owner offers to show families wildlife of a night. Owner provided very use full information regarding surrounds, where to eat etc... Very helpful French owner with a love of Ireland who gave us a lot of tips for visiting not only Port Arthur, but also elsewhere on the Tasman peninsula. Nice garden. Convenient for Port Arthur. Toy Koala bear on bed!. We liked the quietness, the view, the wildlife outside the cottage, the bed was comfy, self-cooking facilities were good and the owners were very friendly, helpful and informative. Fuss-free check-in and check-out. Very thoughtful as the heater was switched on prior to our arrival. Cottage is overlooking a lake and near to Port Arthur historic site. The location was close to Port Arthur which meant you didn't have to travel far from the tourist attraction allowing youmore time to see the local sights. It was very peaceful. The owner has provided everything that you need, even old games to play. Really nice little cottage with beautiful scenery and close to Port Arthur. Warmth on arrival in the local climate was very appreciated. Its a very informal style of accommodation which was refreshing. Like staying at a family members house. This is a cottage and is very roomy for four adults. Inside is fairly clean. Short drive to Port Arthur historical site. All good. Anderson Road did not show up on Tom Tom. Lots of instructions (which were hard to read) through out the Cottage. Nothing. The upslope parking was challenging especially at night. You also need to do a u-turn in a small area to drive the car out. No internet :o( Only Telstra mobile coverage (we are with TPG/Optus hence had 0 mobile coverage in Port Arthur area) But these are not the fault of the accommodation, just something to be wary of. The tv and video were a bit tricky to work as it was satellite reception but we figured it out with the directions provided. Nothing. The bed was a wee bit hard. We drove in to the cottage at night and it's really really dark so pay attention guys. All good. Water is cafe colored and do not feel god for shower and since use. Outside is very rustic. This would be much more inviting with some tender care. Step driveway - but OK.
