Offering stunning views of the Glasshouse Mountains, King Ludwigs Restaurant serves a variety of authentic Bavarian meals. Including grilled cheese sausages with gravy, home-made pies and crumbed schnitzel on a sesame bagel. The bar offers over 35 different German beers and a range of wines.
The spacious cottage features a large terrace with beautiful garden views, a BBQ and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, a stove and a microwave. It includes a flat-screen TV and a DVD player in the living room. The fully stocked pantry offers breakfast provisions, German beers, fresh-baked bread and a cheese platter.
The property hosts special event celebrations for festivals including Oktoberfest and Christmas in July.
King Ludwigs Cottage is 20 minutes’ drive from Glass House Mountains and the Sunshine Coast is 35 minutes’ drive away. Brisbane is a 1-hour drive away.

Dearest Barbara and Klaus,
Firstly I just wanted to say that Barbara you may be the kindest, nicest person we have ever met. Your customer service and hospitality has been above all. You have made us feel so welcomed and cared for from the moment we got here until we left. For a surprise wedding anniversary getaway I couldn't of asked for a cosier, more romantic place to stay.

The cabin was in an idyllic setting and was carefully and thoughtfully designed to meet every need you could think of. Barbara and Klaus were the most delightful hosts and saw to our every need and several we didn't even think of. The restaurant had the most awesome meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will most definitely be back.
