  The Wilderness Retreat is in a wonderful location, near(ish) to the entrance to the fabulous Flinders Chase National Park and near the Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary (don't miss the Koalas there). The restaurant experience for 2 dinners and breakfasts ranged from quite good to very good - depending on the staff at the ti - great location, right in the heart of the wilderness. friendly, helpful staff the design of the hotel is both in harmony with the surrounds, and also encourages interaction between guests with shared communal areas.
