The Staff was really friendly and they help me with everything I needed. The Hostel is well organised and clean. They have a lot of activities going on. But at the same time, they are able to keep the hostel calm, so you can choose or join the activities or resting in your room. It is a really good place to be.

The room was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The Medina is in a great location and we will definately be back. - I liked the friendly efficient staff, the excellent facilities and the closeness to the City.

Amazingly convenient if arriving by train or on the bus from the Airport. Reception staff were very friendly, room was spacious with comfortable chairs and a low table as well as a desk and chair. I have stayed at Ibis many times and the staff are always wonderful both reception & room staff. I had a back injury this trip and when I checked in David on reception was at my room shortly after me with a bucket of ice for my back & would not accept a tip but wished me well in my recovery. These acts of kindness & excellent customer service are definitely remembered & appreciated.

Location ! Location ! Trams city tour tram airport bus etc at your door step also Casino all water fronts . Staff are so obliging and friendly. Very helpful . Give them full marks . Can't nor not possible are just not part of their vocalabury. The sirocco restaurant is also excellent . Have eaten all arou d the city we found the most pleasant on our door . Breakfast excellent . The unit was very suitable for my families needs, the ability to have the facilities to do our own meals if required was exceptional. The layout of the unit is very acceptable with bedrooms seperated from each other, all funnishings of a new standard. The apartment contained everything that we could need and everything was in good condition. The street was quiet and it was nice to be hearing birdsong instead of traffic. The staff were helpful and seemed to care about giving good service and was a personal touch rather than what you would get staying in a large hotel. Although it is a distance out of the city (probably a 20-30 minute walk), there was a tram-line close by.

Wonderful apartment. Sadly only stayed one night it would be perfect for a week. Right opposite a racecourse if you are into that! Minutes from a tram stop which would take 20 mins into Melbourne. Staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure everything was ok. Helped us with our booking which was booked wrong. Was really wonderful. Definitely come back and definitely recommend AAA+++ -

So close to Southern Cross Station for early morning departure on Overland train next day.
Close to Convention Centre only a couple of stops away on the tram for attending a conference.

Location is the winning factor, hostel is in the heart of Mel CBD. Just a short walk from Southern Cross Station. All the staff is friendly & helpfull, allowed me to check in early. I enjoyed the free pancakes on sunday morning when i arrived - TQVM ALL

The rooms were great size, clean and very comfortable. We were very impressed by the staff, they were friendly and made us feel welcome. the place is an excellent option for those like me travelling with family and spending all day out exploring the city and surroundings, great and friendly service all trough from cleaning helper to management staff, facilities were much more than i was expecting for the price and location superb. -

The luxurious experience of being in the Nolan apartment, 21 st floor in the sub penthouse with an amazing 180 degree view of the city and the docklands area was the highlight of this trip. The view from the apartment was something else! Loved that we were upgraded to a three bedroom apartment without even having to ask. The pool and gym facilities are great. Very convenient location as restaurants and shopping are all at your fingertips. The free City Tram and the visitors shuttle are just a short walk away. A few days here and you wouldn't want to go back home!!

This was our second stay at the Grand Hotel Melbourne and we were warmly greeted upon arrival. The staff are always very friendly and eager to help were possible. All the rooms are very spacious and clean with the most amazingly comfortable beds. We were also touched that the staff had given us a complimentary bottle of champagne upon arrival! -
