The Park Hyatt is the best hotel in Canberra -but is probably the most expensive! It is ideal for conservative people who appreciate the Art Deco design the history - and easy proximity to key attractions (old Parliament House, national gallery, portrait gallery). -
We loved the building and the ambience of the hotel, especially the art deco feat

Staying at the Park Hyatt was a real treat.

The service given to us and the comfort whilst staying was fantastic plus the added bonus was the reception held for my sons wedding was excellent for the service, food, and care given to all whom attended. -
For $170 it was great value! I was expecting a smaller room but had an apartment with a separate bedroom. Clean and comfortable enough and

On arrival the staff were very friendly, great to see a smiling face after a long journey. The rooms were also very bright and airy, and the balcony on the third floor is a great idea, perfect place to socialize and meet other travelers!! It's a wonderful location and super easy to find. -

When leaving the hotel I thought that the accommodation fee had already
been charged to my credit card but was told that it not how letsbookhotel.com
works, which I know is not the case, so I hope I haven't been
charged twice. Also they tried to charge me for drinks in the restaurant
which I hadn't had. -
Location was perfect for two older female
... τι λέει ο κόσμος » friends who wanted to see the Turner Exhibition, and also do a lot of walking to explore the National Capital. We were delighted with the friendly and efficient staff, and felt very much "at home" during our short visit.

I liked the idea that the hotel was a fair bit out of the city and therefore in a peaceful environment, but at the same time there are a lot of lovely restaurants walking distance from the hotel area. -

Rooms newish, large, comfie, quiet. Good locale. Friendly concierge parking. Excellent buffet breakfast. Above interstate bus terminal, handy. - The location was fantastic, just above the bus station and walking distance from the shops and restaurants.

Reception staff - very friendly at each encounter. I was welcomed with unsolicited suggestions and free maps - very nice touch you would normally only see in a small country town.

My wife fell and broke her arm 3 hours after we arrived; I was diagnosed with DVT 3 days later. We had to extend our stay by 3 days as doctopr would not allow me to drive home. Staff was very helpful indeed in finding another room for us for 3 days even though the hotel was heavily booked. Could not speak more highly of the staff. Also good to be able to have dinner brought to our room.

This property is well priced, and quiet, and only about 10 minutes from the northern end of Canberra. The rooms are comfortable and relatively clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We were there when a school group was also staying there, but because of the size of the resort, we didn't hear a peep out of them all night long. Waking up to

Second time at this hotel in as many weeks and booked through
letsbookhotel.com and:
1) Over charged again - refund obtained.
2) Was not offered the room I booked but their most basic one - until I questioned this and they gave me the room booked. Kinda frustrating really - and I am not blaming the staff but the Rydges booking system.
