The Breakfree Harbour is very conveniently located right in the centre of the action part of The Esplanade strip of restaurants and shops. Directly opposite is the well used and very clean free open air public swimming pool known as the Lagoon The accommodation in the room is fine, with adequate basic cooking needs. We only made breakfast. We had an ocean view room which I would recommend. Free parking is a good plus as you are in the busy part of town. Given the location I was also pleasa.

The hotel has a really good localization. And the recepcionist Meagan was amazing. She is really helpfull and kidness. She help us with the tours for rainflorest and diving. We had a lovely time there. Fantastic location - right on the esplanade, overlooking the water, surounded by great restaurants. Right in the heart of it all. Would highly recommend staying at BreakFree Royal Harbour. Free internet was a surprise in addition to the ice machine. Great, helpful, extremely friendly staff. Clothes washer in the room was great!. Loved the location, the staff's helpfulness regarding the tours to take, the room and its self sufficiency, the view and overall comfort. Excellent location. Position.excellent. The couch in our room had seen a bit of use and could do with a clean or being replaced. We stayed for 7 nights, but you have to stay for 8 to have the room serviced or pay $60 Taxis are a bit expensive with the 10 min trip to from the airport costing $23 each way None of the above would stop us going back. Infrequent towel resupply. Staff didn't empty the bathroom bin. Hotplates in kitchen very old. Hotel itself looking a bit tired. I like to use stairs - no access to stars unless it is for emergency exit - no signage to inform you that once in the stairwell you have to exit the building. Nothing everything was fine. Some minor housekeeping issues. nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Lounge suite was very uncomfortable and air conditioning noisy. Had to go back home to Victoria. Rubbish disposal being used early morning by outgoing guest. Airconditioning not cold and noise Doors to noise to close. No evident recycling Some electric fittings old Fridge froze all my food. The kitchenette although quite modern was very limited. We stayed for ten days our apartment was serviced on the eighth day the fifth day would have been much better. we were not informed that a $200 bond was required at check in time even though we had paid the full amount of our stay when we booked a month and half beforehand. Key access - would have preferred credit card swipe key instead of metal key. Key Lock to suite was faulty but staff suggested it was the user and not the lock. Suggestion - staff should have said 'you are right I will get the maintenance man to look at it' Aircon filter VERY dirty - never been cleaned! and unit was noisy. No info in room how to get cable TV but info-pack said information was there. Free WiFi would have been nice. The couch was the most uncomfortable thing to sit on. Outside on the balcony, air conditioners from building next door which ran 24 hrs were very noisy. Cleaners needed replacing. Floor was so dirty we had to clean our feet every time we walked in the unit. The garbage bins were dirty, ledges were not clean etc etc. Led to believe the room would be complete water fronted, instead it was partial. Food left in fridge from previous people. Didn't feel it had been cleaned properly. The room was not very clean and the staff very unhelpful.
