The location can't be beaten if you want to look at the city. We had
the trains and buses at the door and only a block away from Kurilpa
Pedestrian Bridge which gives access to the Southbank with only a 10 min
walk. Being right in the cbd was great and we enjoyed our evening views
over the street. Being on the 9th floor meant we were far enough aw

The first time I stayed at Abbey apartments I booked a superior room but it was absolutely disgusting. Shocking! So this time I asked to make sure I really had a superior room as each time I paid extra for it. This time my room was lovely. Great value for money. Lovely furnishings, dishwasher, dryer,and washing machine. I appreciated that the improved things for me this time. I liked that the heating and cooling was so easy to control and fab location.

The location made it really easy for me to walk to most places I had in mind to visit. The City, Gallery of Modern Art and Foetitude Valley. The night view of the city lights was spectacular and a lovely spot to enjoy a quiet cuppa at the end of a long day. Having the Aquatic Centre just across the road was great too. The rooms were clean and a good size, the location handy for shops/restaurants and transport (trains and river-cat). There was a generous amount of laundry and dishwasher detergent provided which is rare! The beds comfortable, the linen good quality with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. We had a lovely view of the Brisbane city skyline from our balcony. The location is quiet and perfect for families. I'd go again.

This place was wonderful. I would fully recommend it to anyone that was thinking about staying here. it was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly. I stayed here one night and really enjoyed it. The apartment is really
big and fully furnished with all ammeneties you can think of. Very good
kitchen with all tools, nicely decorated livingroom. Comfy bed. Very
good, free parking garage. Has a great coffee bar right next door and
just a short stroll of 200 meters to the famous James street. Certainly
will stay here again on my next visit to Brisbane.

Our stay was enjoyable. The staff in all areas of the Hotel were very obliging and helpful. We were both impressed with the level of service we received, this made us feel welcome. And would not consider staying anywhere else next time we return to Brisbane -

Room looked basic from decor perspective but had facilities over &
above what I expected (tea & coffee, mini fridge, iron & board).
Everything worked & room v v clean. Asked for "high &
quiet" room which I got. Arrived an hour early & was offered
alternative room as opposed to original room booked which wasn't
quite ready.

Amazing for the price. I was a bit nervous after reading some of the negative reviews but this place is a gem. Cheap and right in the heart of the city. The room was small but perfect for a single. Air conditioning, TV, kettle, fridge, wardrobe, iron, ensuite and quiet. I've paid twice this for a comparable room in a comparable location. No hesitation in recommending and will definitely stay here again. -
I read lots of very negative on-line reviews about this hotel; so upon arrival, I was apprehensive. But I was surprised - location was perfect for the price I pay. Service was good and my room, towel and linen were clean. I would recommend this hotel again to any solo traveller especially ones on business trips. I wouldn't recommend it to a family on long holiday trips as size of standard room is small.

It is located right in the things. Easy walk to shops, the river and botanic gardens. THe staff could not be more helpful. Really liked the 11am check out.
