1770 Getaway Holiday Retreat is nestled amongst native tropical surroundings, just 800 metres from the shops and restaurants of Agnes Water town centre. The historic Town of 1770 is a 10-minute drive away. Chinaman's Beach is just an 8-minute walk away, and is a great spot for a picnic or a swim.

Set amongst lush, tropical surrounds each spacious villa offers privacy and luxury. Each villa is fully self-contained and has 2 bathrooms and a private patio with garden views and a BBQ. Air conditioning is provided in the bedrooms and living areas.

We were a family of 4 adults so took two cabins. There was a kingsize bed in each and probably a sofa bed, not required. With the excellent kitchen we were able to make our own breakfast and lunch. However the café is not to be missed, for the great quality food and coffee. Don't miss the spit roast on Sundays.
I left something if great sentimental value behind and the wonderful owners offered to send it home free of charge. Great country hospitality and best food available in the region. όλα τα σχόλια »
The owner/operators are very interested in happy guests, which was immediately apparent with the friendly, welcoming reception we received. The grounds are well maintained and our room was impeccably clean. Each unit is a separate building which provided a level of privacy that felt luxurious. Kudos to this establishment for their attention to detail and hospitality.
The staff was fantastic, so friendly, thank you Elvis and Carla:) The food was delicious and good size along with value for money. The cafe is just so pretty and relaxing, the gardens beautiful, the location quite, close to the beach and a couple of minutes drive to Agnes shops. Will definitely stay again.
A quiet, very pretty, secluded location, the units well positioned for privacy. The staff were friendly, the food first class, the accomodation units well appointed. Car parking a bit away from the units surprisingly turned out to be a great idea, adds so much to the peaceful enjoyment of the place.

Owners and staff welcoming,obliging,very informative regarding area ,food second to none especially the Lamb on the Spit surrounds very pleasant-very quiet from George and Mary Birtles Hervey Bay.
We liked everything about this place, we had only been there three nights, but felt like we had a weeks break. We would most certainly recommend it to others, and hopefully stay there again ourselves.
A great place. Feel like you are the only ones there. So quiet and peaceful yet just two minutes from shops. We were lucky enough to be there for lamb on the spit. Beautiful. Highly recommend.

It's hard to find any faults at all, and we certaily have no real negatives to complain about, but if pressed we would have to say we were somewhat surprised that towels were not changed daily, a small courtesy we would have expected for a four night stay.
Watch out for very hungry mosquitos when dining by feature pond or bbq.

Having arthritis the stairs to the villa were a pain and I would probably number the parking spots to the villas. But these are minor worries.
