We've been very fortunate in enjoying great travel. No hotel in the world, for us, compares to the Alvear. It is perfect in every way - the rooms, services, dining. It is expensive but worth every single cent. -

We loved this hotel!! Highlights for us were the valuable local knowledge the staff provided (especially Victoria), the bed and size of the room, the rooftop pool (this seems to be a rare treat at BA hotels), and lastly the best meal we had the entire trip was at the HG restaurant underneath the hotel. We only have great things to say of this hotel and would definitely return if we are ever again in BA. We also found the fierro blog Insidebuenosaires.com full of the best advise for things to do

It was a very calm peaceful setting in a busy city. We used the Ilum as our base and travelled to other destinations returning to the Ilum each time. Soho Point Apartments was a perfect place to stay in Palermo, close to shops and restaurants with vibrant night life. The owners of the apartments were a young couple,very helpful with suggestions for restaurants , very friendly and cordial. They made us feel at home! This is the best one hostel that I ever had stayed. The location is good, just 3 blocks to the subway line and close to different famous places in Buenos Aires, like Casa Rosado, Puerto Madero, Etc.

Front desk occupied 24 hrs with friendly,kind,helpful staff members who
always gave impression there was nothing they wouldn't do to help

Art Suites is brilliantly located in the heart of La Recoleta. The suite we were in, 5A (best to be in an A suite as opposed to a B suite as high as possible in the building - there are two suites per floor) was spacious, clean, comfortable, totally functional, and well serviced daily. It provided everything we needed for a five day stay in BA and, at US$875 for 5 nights, including 21% VAT, is very good value. The front desk reception is staffed 24/7 by very polite and knowledgeable staff.

This is a nice 5 star hotel on a quiet, beautiful street in Buenos Aires. The junior suite that I stayed in was large and comfortable. I enjoyed in particular a six course tasting menu, complete with wines, at the hotel restaurant, El Sud. -

Everything. Very nice staff, excellent location for Palermo Viejo/Soho area. We used buses/subway, so also fairly convenient to get around the city on 140 bus and D subte at Plaza Italia.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff and nicely decorated rooms. We arrived really early and they gave us to have breakfast without charge since our room wasn't yet ready. Great location - right in the heart of trendy Palermo Soho. Delicious Pisco Sours at the bar!
