It was a very calm peaceful setting in a busy city. We used the Ilum as our base and travelled to other destinations returning to the Ilum each time. Such a great location - everything was walking distance (shops restaurants bars). Room was beautiful, clean and spacious. Felt like a chalet almost! Location is fantastic! That best thing about this hotel. Lots of good restaurants and bars around, shop, pharmacy, etc. Personnel is taking care of safety, which is good except the cases when you have to go out late at night and there is nobody who can open the door for you. And you can't do it by yourself. Personnel is nice, trying to help and recommend. Room is clean, comfortable.

I’m very glad that we choose to stay at the Sileo Hotel for the week we spent in Buenos Aires. The hotel itself is a little gem located in Recoleta, the nicest part of Buenos Aires. The Sileo was everything advertised. Great location, very friendly staff, very clean and comfortable room.
The Sileo is a smaller boutique hotel probably more suited to couples without kids but it has a more intimate feel which we thought added to the charm. The location is great as it's on a quieter street around the cemetery. We had the most amazing view of the cemetery. We would absolutely stay there again if we were back in Buenos Aires.

This is the best one hostel that I ever had stayed. The location is good, just 3 blocks to the subway line and close to different famous places in Buenos Aires, like Casa Rosado, Puerto Madero, Etc.

Huge room and a bathroom with a separate toilet. The location is fabulous, just round the corner from the cemetery, the craft market and lots of restaurants. Staff were really helpful in printing off boarding passes for us. Rally good selection of food at breakfast served in the lovely airy indoor garden. -

The location in San Telmo couldn't be better with easy access to the subway system and all historical sites. Also fun to be right inside the Sunday San Telmo Market. Also, the entire staff was cordial, helpful and professional. Made the stay all the more worthwhile.
