  The staff was amazing! There was not a single person we dealt with that was not friendly, knowledgable and quick to assist. Everyone went above and beyond.   This hotel was one of the best hotels we stayed in on our trip. It was close to everything; shopping, Santa Monica Pier, great restaurants and bars; couldn't have asked for a better location. The staff were fantastic, they gave us great advice and organised our transport back to the airport which saved us time and money. Most people would complain about the noise, but you have to take into account that that's just the Venice/Santa Monica environment. Fun and the sun is at your doorstep. We asked for a beach/ocean view and were upgraded upon - Brilliant, friendly & helpfull staff. It's right on the famous boardwalk next to plenty of restaurants & a small convenience store. It's secure, with a good safety deposit box in the room & I felt safe despite the colour characters going in & out at night. My room was also impeccably clean, as was the whole hotel. - The staff at this hotel were sensational! We got to check-in early, had our bags carried up 3 flights of stairs (because the elevator was on the fritz) and got to check-out late so we could sleep off our jet-lag. Plus they have one of the best lobby spaces I've ever seen and there's rooftop access to watch the sunset over Venice.

  We had an upgrade to the more private part of the motel. The room is great, very large, very comfortable, with a perfect bed and a large bathroom. The wifi works well, especially outside the room and in the breakfast area and there are restaurants and a supermarket very near by. I had a misunderstanding for the night parking, but I understood that limited space was temporarily and the night guy did not mention to me they had another private parking. Aside from that receptionist really helpful and friendly, the room very big and clean, good wifi and facilities. Very helpful the laundry on site for only 4$ wash and dry.
