  The staff was excellent. Very courteous and welcoming. We had originally booked for 1 night and decided to stay in the area for an extra night. They were able to cheerfully accommodate us for the extra night with no problem. The hotel itself is on beautiful grounds with an old-school charm, only a couple of minutes drive to a beautiful downt... was die leute sagen » own area with lots of shopping, parks and restaurants. The rooms are older, but are SUPER clean. The beds are comfortable and made with the nicest - Loved the sauna & will next time get a massage as well. I love the fact that there is a swimming pool, jacuzzi, massage therapist, & sauna. Perfect for those stiff muscles from driving. The rooms are very clean, well decorated, & quiet. Both the female & male receptionists were considerate & prompt.

  We loved the complete set-up, the maritim style throughout the hotel. Common areas were nicely furnished and with great views of the marina. In the evening the staff would light bonfires on the different terraces.The rooms were bright and spacious with balconies, the bathroom was big and nice and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is perfectly located right on the lake and a close walk to everything in town.

  We loved the mineral baths and massages at the Roosevelt Spa! The hotel is right in the middle of the state park with beautiful trails. We rented bikes from the hotel and had a great leisurely ride. Also utilized the hotel's free shuttle to downtown. All around a great stay! - The proximity to spac was fantastic.
