  Arriving late, we found our key and directions sticked to the office door. Very friendly and helpful staff the next morning. The cottage was very cosy and clean, and although the appliances and shower would benefit from an update, it didn't feel old or outdated overall. Airco a bit noisy but keeping the cottage cool in July. Everything you needed was there, it was fall the heat was awesome, the man at the desk was friendly and helpful, it was dark when we arriced and he had gone down and turned our outside lights on for us, and recommended toppings a pizza place that delivered they were fast cheap and yummy! We loved the cottages and will go back! Always a plus not too far from congdons donut shop!

  We had an excellent time at Colonial Gables. The view from the room + terrasse was stunning, the garden great, the beech lovely, and the two ladies running the place more than helpful. Belfast is very pleasant, and thebplace is also well located for trips to Acadia, Maine town and villages, lakes ... and a great local lobster pond. The cottages are more beautiful than the motel (and some of them recently renovated), but we loved our tim - Upon arriving to Colonial Gables, Mary was very friendly and welcoming, and upgraded us to a cottage at no charge! The grounds were beautiful, and the location is very nice, close to downtown Belfast and on the way to Acadia. Plus, having Pap J's next door for a delicious dinner was a big plus. Greta also provided great food recommendations in town.

  We went to the Majestic in October, after attending a wedding in the area. Even though we arrived very late, the receptionist was very friendly. The room was spotless (I used to be a chambermaid, and I checked) The bed was very comfortable. A mini-fridge and coffemaker were great additions. I think they'd really like the pool, tennis court, shuffle board court, ho - I like very much everything During off season, because I am not sure the reasonnable price can continue , but this place had everything : good location, tennnis, boccee game, barbecue, swimming, fridge in room, free breakfast, and it is like a 5 stars resort at a very friendly price not to say extremely reasonnable price :)

  Friendly, helpful staff and one of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in. In many motels, rooms touted as "non smoking" still smell vaguely like smoke, but there was none of that here.
