  The resort felt like a true New England Resort. I loved that it was removed from the hustle and bustle. The grounds were impeccably maintained. The into town was convenient and fun!! - Great facilities with lots of recreation options including heated fresh water pool, salt water pool and hot tub right on the ocean. Room was superb.

  The Stage Neck Inn was located on York Harbor and has a lovely water view. The staff is very polite and quite attentive and welcoming. Our room was an Upper Beach Room which had a distant view of the beach across the parking lot. If you are able to and there is availability, we strongly suggest that you book a close up water view. It's in a lovely setting right on the water. Unfortunately, we were there in mid-fall. I'd definitely go back during a summer.

  First, the beds were great; comfortable, plush, lottsa pillows, quilt, and the room was pretty quiet (except for occasional footfalls upstairs, but, alas...).   Very nice hotel. Our room was a king suite with a small private deck off the bedroom, spacious living area. Very clean and it didn't smell like a hotel usually does which was a bonus. The hotel was very nicely decorated for the season. Parking garage was nice as it was cold when we left and we didn't have to be outside long.
