  Compared to other accommodations in Portland this place was reasonably priced. Our room was large, comfortable and nicely furnished. A complimentary shuttle bus picked us up from and returned us to the train station. The breakfast was included in the room price and there were plenty of lovely foods to choose from. I liked the location, the fact it was pet frieindly - I wish I had brought my dog. I loved having hot coffee available 24/7. Was a great place to stay in Portland! Wouldn't hesistate to stay again!

  We were a party of 2 couples with 2 rooms. When we checked in, we were told that they ran out of rooms with double queen beds, so both rooms were upgraded to suites at no extra charge. We certainly got off to a good start! Everyone at the hotel was always courteous and friendly and ready to help. As the person who picked this hotel, I was glad that everyone in our party was happy - Stayed at the Atlantic Oceanside's downtown apartment in Bar Harbor, The Song of the Sea. It was perfect! Centrally located downtown with a beautiful view of the harbor and Bar Island, it was perfect for our family of 5. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen and living area was great and the washer and dryer was a added bonus. Decorated nicely, very clean and the parking spot two blocks away was great. Will only stay there on our next visit to the wonderful Bar Harbor/Acadia area!

  I had amended my booking on letsbookhotel.com from 1 to 2 nights but for whatever reason we were only booked in for the 2nd night. The women on the front desk dealt with this so subtly and efficiently that we were in our room 10 minutes later! It's sad that more people don't treat their customers so well as they did.
