  The hotel was just gorgeous, everything was done so tastefully and with great style. The staff was welcoming and helpful in every way, valet parking service was excellent. Breakfast was bountiful and offered many great choices. Our room was huge and had wonderful views of Casco Bay; the beds were firm and comfortable, the appointments excellent. Our next visit to Portland will certainly include The Hampto - Very helpful staff-especially liked the ability to use the services of the hotel van to go anywhere in Portland we needed to, My wife is handicapped, so this was very advantgeous and also because only parking is by valet. Very central to excellent restaurants like Hugo's and Eventide. Also, excellent harbor views and close to harbor walking trails. Breakfast buffet included in room price was outstanding.

  The express breakfast was great. The women who oversaw it was extremely accommodating. Staff was knowledgeable regarding traffic patterns. Would stay again - I liked the set up of our room. We are a family of 5 so we decided on the double bed suite with the sofa bed. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good.
