  One of the maids helped me find the heater control. There was a controller on the wall, but the real controls were on the wall panel. Also the room did not have glasses so she got them for me.   The location of Imperial Inn Motel, Oakland was what our family liked the most, just one block from BART, a stones throw from San Francisco, a few blocks from downtown and Lake Merrit if you enjoy walking. Our a/c did not work when we checked in but the staff replaced it with a new one within the hour. We had one of our best nights sleeping in any motel.
