The property is on old highway 31 which helps with the charm that it is not located by all the other hotel,motel and is very quiet. The room I stayed in was roomy, clean and plenty of pillow for the bed. If you want a change in staying off the beaten path, stay at the Thunderbird Inn.

  Location - The receptionist was extremely helpful and even allowed us to check out later so that I could take a shower after running a marathon. Everything was great and we will certainly be back. - Clean hotel. Good location-within walking distance to the sites but not in all the traffic.

  I liked the private balcony and the view of the Mackinaw Bridge and Mackinaw Island. We were lucky there were fireworks the night we stayed. Liked the bathroom set-up with separate room with the shower & toilet in one and sinks in another. - Hotel was clean for most part and reasonably priced. Could use some updating.
