  Clarion has the best pillows ever and plenty of them. Each bed came with 4 pillows on them, plenty for people who like extra. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely no complaints regarding the cleanliness of the rooms. I felt very comfortable and clean. Overall, the Clarion is a great value for the money. - It was peaceful. Liked the bathroom set-up with separate room with the shower & toilet in one and sinks in another. - Hotel was clean for most part and reasonably priced. Could use some updating.

  We appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the helpful service. We especially liked the full-service breakfast at the nearby Beach and Bay motel -- and the access to laundromat facilities at the Clarion motel. - The location is great. Far enough from downtown to be peaceful. Lake view room was great.

  We liked nearly everything about Mackinaw Beach and Bay Resort. A morning breakfast is provided, and it's good, but it needs a little variety. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are great and the view is amazing from your own private balcony. When we checked out, I really liked the two ladies at the desk, they were so nice and made me feel that I was a special guest to them. - Helpful staff. Good location With free.shuttle to ferry.   Very late arrival but no problems at check in. Staff were very helpful at check in and check out. Clean rooms. A bit of wear and tear in the bathroom but not atypical for the price and location. Location was great for shopping in mackinaw city and really close to the ferry boats to Mackinaw Island as well.
