Trotz der Lage zu einer viel befahrenen Straße ist das Hotel ruhig (gute Schallisolierung). Unser Zimmer lag zum Hof und hatte einen schönen Blick auf die Skyline von SF. The building itself: built in the late 1800s and completely refurbished but in keeping with its age plus all the mod cons. Great breakfast everyday plus snacks to come home to. Very convenient public transport outside the door. -

This hotel is perfect: being a few blocks from the city's downtown means you don't get the "undesirable" local residents outside the door. However, being on the city's main bus line, catching a bus is quick, easy, even exciting.

Convenient location out of the busy downtown area. Parking was a plus! Clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Loved the coffee and danish in the morning and Ella's restaurant at the corner. Room was comfy and the kitchenette was nice to have available.

Hotel was like an Oasis off the busy Lombard St. Get a courtyard facing room and its very quiet. We initially had a street facing room which was loud but not unbearable, especially later on in the evening. Staff at the hotel did offer us earplugs if we needed them. The entire property is lovely and maintained well. The room was pristine
and charming. I wish we had been off the street in the courtyard, but
that is something we will do next time we come into town. The parking
was a huge bonus and the proximity to the bus line made it possible to
just leave the car parked the entire time we were in the city! What a
