  I booked this hotel on reading the reviews of other customers, and I was not disapointed. It was a very well run and friendly hotel, both management and staff went out of their way to ensure we had a lovely holiday, the food was suberb and good value for money,I don;t know how anyone can be unhappy with the breakfast as everything was on offer. ... was die leute sagen » We ate our evening meals in the hotel and in four nights each meal was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel. My mum is 77 and the walk into - The location of this hotel was ideal for us, it was quiet and only 10 min walk down to the main shopping area. The room was larger than i was expecting as we only booked the standard. It was very comfortable place to stay. We did not use the restaurant, but if the breakfast is anything to go by, then it would be well worth it, we were out and about most of the day and tended to eat where we were.

  What a super find. Very welcoming indeed- even arranged private transfer to airport. As well as giving me plenty of tips about local places of interest and good food eateries. Will certainly return. Many thanks to Geoff and Carolyn. - The room was very nice and the dressing gowns really warm! I really liked having a fridge and microwave!

We stayed B & B and the breakfast was excellent with good portion size and the one evening we stayed for an evening meal that was also very good.   Runnymede were extremely accommodating when confirming my booking over the phone after i had booked the room online, there had been no record of my Daughter staying too and the Irish lady (didn't manage to get her name apologies) was extremely pleasant and helpful. I personally couldn't care less if the decor isn't my cup of - the excellent standard of the food and the quantity and variety. This was served by very attentive staff. the room was clean with adequate storage for clothes and the washing facilities were good plenty of hot water. there was no noise from other guests. I would rate it higher than the 2 star rating and comparing it to the hotel my sister was staying which was a three star we would say it was much more guest friendly nothing was too much trouble if information was requested.
