  We were on a National Trust property tour and this was an ideal stop off point to visit three in that area. Very friendly helpful staff. Very pleasant chalet type rooms. Super food and beer! Also close to visit Cambridge.   We stayed in a family room in the annexe, next-door to the main lodge - very warm & clean. It was great to park our car right beside our bedroom window & have our dog stay. The en-suite 'rain-shower' gave out plenty of hot water, any time of day. Complimentary toiletries & spotless white towels were much appreciated. Pr - The convenience near the Business and Science Parks, and with a bicycle: close to the city centre. Large room, little external noise, good breakfast. Lights, shower, door lock, some TV channels - worked. Efficient, courteous and effective staff at breakfast.
