  We often come to Blackpool for a long weekend during the illuminations but hadn't stayed in the Henson before. There were 5 of us, all family, in 3 separate rooms and we were well taken care of from day one.   The owners of the hotel were both really friendly and they would do anything that they could to help you. They gave us information on nightlife and restaurants. - How friendly the owners were. they could not do enough for you. The room, food, and service excellent. Would defiantly recommend it to friends.

  We were made very welcome, the room was very comfortable and the entertainment and dining area was clean and tidy. The saff were vey helpful in giving us directions to the venues we needed to get to. The road works around Blackpool made things difficult but the staff could not have been more helpful with the directions they gave us. We have - After reading the reviews I was slightly worried about the hotel but on arrival the staff were brilliant, check in was quick and smooth, they'd gone the extra length to make sure they have parking for all guests. Breakfast was lovely and served quickly. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. We had an amazing weekend and the service was second to none! I'd highly recommend the hotel!! Amazing value for money!

  From when i entered the hotel i was greeted by the owner,he was very polite and paid attention to me,he checked me in then offered to carry my bag to the room,he also showed me to the room. The room was very clean,it was at the rear of the building.   Breakfast buffet was good although self-serve toast machine was a pain. Car parking was available and we were able to leave the car there after checkout. Attached Indian restaurant was excellent. Single rooms were reasonable size, clean and nicely decorated and bathroom was spacious.   We liked the location of the hotel. It was easily accessible from the tram and close to shops and other amenities. Even though they were in the middle of renovation, we were given a ground floor room, and not inconvenienced. - Been to this hotel before, and will definatley use again.   WOW!!! Barry and Andrea are made for the hotel business. Before we even stepped foot inside The Hurstmere, Barry was there with a lovely warm welcome. We were assisted with our luggage and advised on places to visit and eat(all advise was followed). Bar area is a child's heaven, with a large variety of toys for all ages. We stayed in rm 10(apparently the smallest double - Made welcome from the start- even helped to bring luggage in and taken stright to our room. Excellent hosts, whom even keep the teenagers entertined. Bar area excellent and pleanty full. Breakfast 5* and definitaly one for the big eaters. Would I return? Most defintaly. This lovely BnB out weighed any hotel we have ever stayed in, in Blackpool.   The hotel itself was great for the price. From arriving to a friendly welcome , to a great sea view in our double room we valued the kings as a very friendly and accommodating stay.
