  Pimalai is truly a little slice of heaven. Stunning grounds, delicious food, gorgeous spacious rooms on the most beautiful stretch of the island. All this being said the best thing about the resort are all of the amazing people working there. Every person we came into contact with was so pleasant and cheerful. I hope I am lucky enough to return to this haven of peace someday, as this is truly a unique and perfect spot - We stayed 2 night in Pimalai at the end of 4 weeks honeymoon trip. the hotel is located right on the beach spreading further towards the hill. the beach is quite nice but depend on the tide state. we really liked the room which was really comfortable, the breakfast (they have macaroons.. :), the shed in front of the beach. The service is nice, both pools are incredible. They have nice facilities for free at the beach. "why not" bar is great.

  I like everytrees and atmosphere in the resort, they look natural and shady. The bizarre shape of group of mountains confronting the Tubkaak beach is so stunning, the hotel seems to have its own beach so it's easy to walk down to the sea from your room in just a second.   very quiet, only 20 guest (high season 300). Location was nice, but you have to rent a motorbike (4 euro/day) to explore the island more. Beautiful garden and ponds (with some Iguanas in it) in the center of the hotel, so nice view from breakfast area, which is on 2nd floor. We sat at the balcony, very nice. Very relaxing environment...conducive to both couples and families. Relative to other places such as Phuket, Lanta is a safe place to ride a scooter, especially if you avoid high speeds and riding at night. As a result, the central location of the resort makes it a great place to be if you want to get out and explore for a few days!

  Outrigger was definitely the best hotel we've stayed at in Thailand. Since the moment the hotel was revealed to my eyes from far away by long tail boat, my breathe was taken and it was hard to readjust. Approximately 1km spread with coconut trees white sand crystal water (although it is tiding down afternoon), 4 restaurants, huge amazing pool incl... was die leute sagen » uding inside bar. We came for our honeymoon and this is by far the most suitable hotel for that purpose, surrounded by peaceful couples. The rooms are - My husband has food allergies and I emailed the staff ahead of time to inform them. The food & beverage manager met with us and assured us that her staff had the list. Indeed they did - it was nice not to have to repeat all the allergies and they were all very thorough. The property, bungalow, pool and restaurants were all great. We were really impressed and thankful for the 3 nights we had here. We were finally able to get some sleep.

  We stayed in a Junior Villa which was fabulous. Superb bathroom, dressing area and bedroom and nice and private balcony with no other bungalows overlooking. Breakfast wasnt brilliant but did the job - the usual egg station and then extra bits to keep you full until lunch. The walk to Railay West beach is very short, only about 5 minutes, so I'd really recommend saving money and staying on the east side. The resort was pretty, and had a nice pool. On the first day, we reached the hotel at 9.20 am and the hotel allowed us to make an early check-in just within 10 mins time for free! They use wood on the shower, which obviously hard to keep clean. Every afternoon it was a terrible smell in the bathroom. Breakfast was nice, environment was lovely, pool and the area is excellent. The front door staff was very friendly, really what you'd expect!
