  Haad Yao beach was by far the best beach I visited on Koh Phangan, and the High Life Bungalows had an amazing view of it perched on top of the rocks at the south of the beach.   Excellent bungalow very much in beach front. We did take family bungalow because it was nearest from beach, allthough we traveled with two of us. But it was in good price range and absolutely worth that price! Restaurant had very good food (best in the beach) and BBQ every night (also, excellent food!).   In terms of accommodation, the bungalows are fantastic value for money. It is a basic set up, with just enough room for a massive double bed and TV.
