We stayed 2 night in Pimalai at the end of 4 weeks honeymoon trip. the hotel is located right on the beach spreading further towards the hill. the beach is quite nice but depend on the tide state. we really liked the room which was really comfortable, the breakfast (they have macaroons.. :), the shed in front of the beach. The service is nice, both pools are incredible. They have nice facilities for free at the beach. "why not" bar is great.

very quiet, only 20 guest (high season 300). Location was nice, but you have to rent a motorbike (4 euro/day) to explore the island more. Beautiful garden and ponds (with some Iguanas in it) in the center of the hotel, so nice view from breakfast area, which is on 2nd floor. We sat at the balcony, very nice.

Friendly and courteous staff, great central location on the island (scooter rental available on site). Very relaxing environment...conducive to both couples and families.
Relative to other places such as Phuket, Lanta is a safe place to ride a scooter, especially if you avoid high speeds and riding at night. As a result, the central location of the resort makes it a great place to be if you want to get out and explore for a few days!

everything was perfect. food, location, staff, cleaning. Staff is very kind and friendly. Nearly every night there is a social event like wine tasting and free tapas. They arrange many facilities like snorkelling (must try) and island tours. Also they put flowers every part of hotel and really smells good :). Rooms are really big and over quality.
There are only 50 rooms in this hotel so that it is not crowded and quality oriented. Loved here.

Great location only a 5 minute walk away from the heart of Kantiang Bay and the main beach. Make sure you got Mini Mouse for some beauty therapy. There isn't a restaurant on site so there's the option of room service, or getting supplies from the 7/11 store just down the road. The villa was enormous for the two of us - there were two bedrooms located in separate parts of the villa to each other. Villa Alanta is a very nice Bali style villa. Great lay out, fantastic personnel, owner who contacted us during our stay via e-mail to make sure that we were fine.
