  This was a surprise! Wow what a beautiful little hotel... Zen comes to mind. Beautiful large rooms everything well thought through in every detail.. decor absolute first class.   The hotel was very kid-friendly - pool and grounds were beautiful places to relax for both parents and kids. Staff was friendly and helpful. They helped us book plenty of day trips and packed us a breakfast when they found out we'd be checking out before the kitchen opened. Location was convenient for beach access (just across the street), and it was easy to grab a taxi to head to the tourist streets - Loved the open-plan design of the public rooms. Watching the geckos took me back to my childhood in Vietnam. Loved the staff, especially the lady who taught me a new Thai phrase every day. Food was good. Room was large, comfortable, with good air-con. Swimming pool was much better than I had expected from a small hotel. And the garden is great - my wife loves plants, and was in heaven.

They could accommodate all our needs, including adding pillow and calling taxi. I tried Thai massage in my room. The master was great and the price is just reasonable. There are only 20 bungalows sharing the trees, the pavilion, and 2 swimming pools. The facilities are never crowded and it seems like you own the whole small village!

  Location was good for what we needed on this trip. I had seen some reviews that weren't complimentary, and I can't understand why that was.
