The elevator to take you up and down the hillside was an adventure in itself and not too much of a pain (as you have to wait five minutes at the bottom if you call it when it is at the top).   The place was amazing! Extremely friendly staff!! It waaay exceeded our expectations. We originally booked for 3 nights but had to leave 1 day earlier and the manager was kind enough not to charge us! The pool was kind of on the beach and its view was super!   Everything about his hotel was great, couldn't have asked for better service from the friendly staff. Really enjoyed our stay here during the Full Moon Party and the location was perfect. It is placed in the middle of sunrise beach, very nice place during the day (white and slim sand, nice water but no interest for snorkeling) and the night where full moon parties take place once a month but the rest of the days there are restaurants and clubs to hang out.

  We read a lot of bad reviews about the staff at sunrise and decided to take it anyway. They couldn't be any nicer too us! Friendly helpful and were literally running to take care of our needs. Located on the most amazing beach I've see in Thailand and had a nice pool with poolside bar. Restaurant was good too. I made a mistake and booked the night before ( take care when booking having had some Chang! ) but he was ok and sorted us with a laugh and a joke.
