  Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen. Die Freundlichkeit, sehr familiär, sehr sauber, ruhig mitten im Reisfeld. Unterstützung bei der Planung von Ausflügen. Sehr gutes Essen. The place is great! It is clean, comfortable and has everything needed. It is a little outside of the city, in the small local village, surrounded by rice fields and beautiful landscape. This is the perfect place to start the exploration of the area. Chiang Rai city has very little to offer, while the real experience is spread around the city. We rented a motorbike (which Ban Lom Jen offers) and visited white t - We just loved this place! The owners made us feel so welcome, attending to our needs and sharing stories. They invited us to join a bbq in the evening, offered us a ride to center when they were going, etc. The view from the back terrace (with a nice relaxing area) is green rice fields and hills. And from the restaurant/reception you can see the river flowing by. The food was delicious, and for breakfast we got to choose what we want.   This would be among the cleanest places that I have ever stayed in. The room are very light and spacious and immaculate. The all white an oyster grey curtains are fantastic and the decor is understated and vey refined - as good as any 4-5 start hotel in BKK or anywhere The staff were most obliging. Only 60THB taxi fare to city centre

  Beautiful, tranquil setting overlooking the river. Has its own private pier for boat trips one of which we took to ride elephants and visit the hill tribes. Excellent spa facilities and infinity pool. Great restaurants serving local fare, Italian or B-B-Q food. The night market is a great place to experience local cuisine for very little Baht!

  Staff was very helpful and friendly, smiling a lot even if not all of them could speak english, but they always tried to do 110%. Dorm room was nice, comfortable beds, enough fans. I also had laundry and breakfast there, very happy with service. I stayed there longer than I planned at first. - Great place to stay, just 5 minutes walking straight from the bus stop. It is really cheap but the rooms are well equipped and cozy. Even have mosquitonets. Staff is friendly and helpful and the owner a supernice guy. I enjoyed staying there, especially for what you get for your money and i could recommend it to everybody, even to families because it is not loud there at all. One of my favourite places so far.
