Even the British GM took the time to have a chat with us on a couple of occasions. Minor quirks were attended to instantly.   The lady that runs the villa (Pray) is a breath of fresh air, very helpful and positive and always happy to help. I can say that because of her we felt extreemly welcome comfortable and happy to stay at the villa. I have traveled to many locations and must say that the people really make a difference.   My husband and I stayed at Rarin Jinda for my birthday in March and in the taxi on the way from the airport I was worried what it would be like. I needn't have worried at all!! The pics on their website do not do it justice, it is an amazing place to stay, with a relaxing and soothing atmosphere, quiet, clean and fantastic!   What a lovely place! We spent our honeymoon here and was upgraded for free to the honeymoon suite. It was a lovely suite with a huge bath!! The staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming doing the best they can to meet your needs! Our room was cleaned everyday and was refreshed with new towels. I would definately recommend this hote - We loved our stay at Yantarasri. It had a very relaxing feel, especially near the pool! The staff was amazing and very helpful. We loved the location and preferred it to being in the center city. Terrific place to stay that we would recommend to any visitor to Chiang Mai. Worth stating again how great the staff was.

  We went in the hot season, just before the rainy season, so the place was quiet and we got a great deal on a pool-side room. The weather held (mostly) but was extremely hot - up to 38c at times, so the pool (and aircon) were a blessing. The room was beautiful and well cleaned but the real highlight is the place itself - from the classic Lanna styl... was die leute sagen » e entrance 'building' which is very pretty, especially lit up at night, the waterfalls, ponds, trees (you need to read the notes pinned on them!), scu - We (2 adults + 1 child) stayed at KP for 3 nights in one of the 94 sqm Lanna villas. That was a great deal well worth the extra 50USD/night for enjoying full privacy, private garden, outdoor jacuzzi, massage tables and steam room. KP site is well kept, the room service spotless, the breakfast royal (bit weak on the pastries though), the staff very friendly and access to downtown made hassle free thanks to the KP shuttle bus (book it well in advance especially on WE) or you can always book a cab
