  Everything was excellent. Horizon Club was well worth the little extra as you get so much more for your money . Staff were so friendly. Even the British GM took the time to have a chat with us on a couple of occasions. Minor quirks were attended to instantly.   We went in the hot season, just before the rainy season, so the place was quiet and we got a great deal on a pool-side room. The weather held (mostly) but was extremely hot - up to 38c at times, so the pool (and aircon) were a blessing. The room was beautiful and well cleaned but the real highlight is the place itself - from the classic Lanna styl... was die leute sagen » e entrance 'building' which is very pretty, especially lit up at night, the waterfalls, ponds, trees (you need to read the notes pinned on them!), scu - We (2 adults + 1 child) stayed at KP for 3 nights in one of the 94 sqm Lanna villas. That was a great deal well worth the extra 50USD/night for enjoying full privacy, private garden, outdoor jacuzzi, massage tables and steam room. KP site is well kept, the room service spotless, the breakfast royal (bit weak on the pastries though), the staff very friendly and access to downtown made hassle free thanks to the KP shuttle bus (book it well in advance especially on WE) or you can always book a cab

  The staff were helpful, we were picked up and the car arrived exactly on time. The actual hotel and apartments are only a year old and are stylishly decorated. There is a small gym which is outside but in the shade, and a pool. We stayed in the suite which had a two ring hob, microwave and fridge.
