I've stayed here several times, and always found it a great little hotel. Mike, the pm Receptionist, is very friendly. There's a great breakfast spread, and lots of bars and restaurants right on the doorstep. My employer would put me up in the Kempinski, but frankly, I find Comedie much more convivial. -

Very reasonable price/quality ratio for Geneva and good location for our purposes. Also, with the tram stop just outside and the free public transport ticket, you can be anywhere downtown easily and quickly. We actually walked mostly.
Very frienly and helpful staff. Note that this is a residence, so you have a minimal kitchen, but no daily cleaning of the room. The rooms are rather nice and modern.

Having been appalled at the high prices and low standards in other
hotels in Geneva this one was a big improvement though still expensive
even by Swiss standards (but that’s Geneva!). It's 10 to 15 minutes
walk from the station and there are trams and buses that you can use
though it’s often as quick to walk. Breakfast here starts at 7.15 which
seemed a bit late to me compared with elsewhere but staff were very
helpful and will make up a breakfast tray if you need to leave earlier

The location is good, there are many bus and tram stops around. The host
is friendly and helpful. Because Geneva is a very expensive city, it is
good to have oppurtunities to eat at the apartment. The price is also
good compare to the others. I suggest the hotel, if I go there again I
definitly prefer the same place to stay. -
