They sorted out my diet, helped us to book train tickets on line, helped to sort out the aftermath of a minor accident, were always very friendly...in short wonderful. The location is excellent. Very close to the old town and all the bars and restaurants but far away enough you don't have sleepless nights from bar noise. The hostel is around the high end stores and it's a pleasure to stroll back to the place after doing the town. You can walk everywhere from it. A small balcony allows you to air the space.

Fabulous town, wonderful food, Hotel is built on a narrow ridge above the bay where you can watch the surfers from your room with a floor to ceiling glass wall. We chose the old style room with wooden shutters looking north with our own balcony and view of red tile roofs, the church bell tower and the ocean in the back ground. Just wonderful!!!! This is a superior hotel and staff; just sorry we were not staying much longer.

The staff at the hotel have been the most helpful I have ever encountered. The hotel is in a superb location, the room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the bay of San Sebastian with superb views. The room was better than you would normally expect from a 2 star hotel. The underground secure parking was a definite bonus and probably a necessity.

Everthing good here especially as we requested a room with a sea view and booked in the car into their secure garage. A clean bright and comfortable hotel situated around the bay and about a 30 minute stroll along the promenade to the old part of town and the port.
The in-house restaurant served throughout the day and this was appreciated for a 24 hour visit. Just 7 euros for secure parking underground. We liked the whole set up and would recommend it.

Beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean,this lovely small hotel deserves four stars rather than two. It was slightly difficult to find (sat-nav very helpful) but is a lovely peaceful rural retreat. The stay here worked out perfectely well. It was so good that we had extended it with additional days. The service and the breakfast were excellent. The owner of the place Mrs Arantxa Arruti had a smile on her face all the time ! The personal in the restaurant was always very accomodating and happy to help.
The place is strategically positioned in between SanSebastian and Bilbao and all the places of interest are within an easy reach.
