  From the moment we arrived Bixen, the owner, made us feel very welcome. The room was large, clean and the bed do comfortable. The views are fabulous, but you need to go to appreciate how pretty it is and quiet.   Beautiful apartment in a beautiful house managed by very helpful and friendly owner. Comfortable furniture and beds (very wide single beds for our children). Pleasant sheets and blankets. You can feel that the owner likes her house and makes an effort to make it comfortable. For example, we had towels of different color for everyone.   This was a very pleasant pension. We had a double and a single room for our daughter. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was quite well located with only a ten minute walk to the old town where we spent a lot of time. The coffee which is free was lovely.   We were travelling with our dogs and had a superb room overlooking the bay. The hotel is an old townhouse with loads of character. We had booked a space in their garage . . . We ate at the May Flower [a fish grill restaurant] overlooking the port - superb; there - Fabulous town, wonderful food, Hotel is built on a narrow ridge above the bay where you can watch the surfers from your room with a floor to ceiling glass wall. We chose the old style room with wooden shutters looking north with our own balcony and view of red tile roofs, the church bell tower and the ocean in the back ground. Just wonderful!!!! This is a superior hotel and staff; just sorry we were not staying much longer.
