  Irenaz resort was located on the edge of a beautiful green valley that was so relaxing. There was often music traveling up from somewhere on the mountain and it made us really feel like we were in Europe. The location is a bit out of San seb city but the bus stop is 100metres down the road and for 1.60 euro takes you 11-15 minutes to get into town... was die leute sagen » . The staff were really lovely and helpful with everything from beaches, San Fermin and resturants. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the bathroo - The apartments were very modern and private, overlooking the valley on the outskirts of San Sebastián. We specifically chose the location because we had a car we didn't want to use in the city and parking was free. The apartments were close to a bus stop with regular buses taking about 15 minutes to reach the centre of the city. The reception staff were very helpful in assisting us with a damage report we needed to fax to the leasing company.

  The hotel was ideally located for us as it was relatively easy arriving and leaving by car and was a nice walk ( about 20 mins) to the old town, beach and other sites. Onsite parking was available - make sure you get your room card from reception before parking car or you can't use lifts to the hotel! The restaurant wasn't open during our stay, but cafe at the front was good for a drink or a - The staff were very friendly and spoke English. We chose this hotel as we were arriving by car and didn't want to drive right into the city centre. The walk into town only takes 10-15 mins. We also loved the movie theme of the hotel and got the Bob Hoskins room. The rooms have DVD players and you can hire for free, movies from the hotel to watch, so we thought this was pretty cool. Can't comment on the breakfast as we went an ate elsewhere.

  Javier who was the point of contact and person in charge at Pension was one of the highlights of the entire trip to San Sebastian. He was very helpful telling us exactly where to go to get a round and had a great sense of humor. We had a great stay at Pension and have already recommended a number of friends to stay there! We had the most beautiful walk across the bridge into old town everyday. The staff did EVERYTHING possible to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The rooms were nice and big and cozy. Coffee from the machine in the lounge was great and convenient. The value was outstanding. We will stay here when in San Sebastian:)))))
