Value for money. It is a student house which works as the hotel over the summer, so as expected the room was basic, but it had everything I need like private kitchen and bathroom. So yes it is basic but cheap, clean and in good conditions and only 15 minutes walking to the beach. -

Everything at this hostel is perfect. It really is like a home and feels like a boutique hotel, except that you're just staying in dorms. Beautiful dorms at that. The staff and owner are lovely and so helpful. It is in one of the best locations in Barcelona in a beautiful tree-lined, semi-pedestrian street so it is relatively quiet and very tranquil. It is such good value for money.

La Flor de Gaudi is the best hostel I´ve ever been! Everything is very clean; showers, rooms, sheets, beds ... The couple that runs the hostel is so kind and take care of every guest!
