  My room on 1st floor (6) was airy, clean, bright and nicely-decorated. Good air conditioning, pleasant (if slightly cramped) bathroom and shower. The building is well-maintained and characterful, with a very relaxed feel, and the staff are helpful and speak good English.   We found one of the reception-foyer staff so helpful. He carried our four cases to our 3 separate rooms; helped me park and exit my large car in the small hotel garage;advised us on shopping and places of interest;arranged a surprise taxi tour of Tangier and surrounding area, all without holding his hand out for payment. Tasty dinners. - Mustafa at front desk was incredibly helpful overall, especially re: my luggage which didn't arrive on my flight into Casblanca before we took train to Tangier. He helped suggest where to buy some clothes, helped with phone calls to the airlines and shared other tips to help. The location made our daily walks to the Medina and other highlights easy, and the room was very comfortable at a great price.

No problem and upgraded us immediately to a suite and moved all of our baggage. Fine food at a good price, the best food we had in Asillah.   The hotel had soundproofed rooms, which are necessary in Tangier. Stayed in another hotel in the same area and there was a lot of noise, incredibly tiring.   We stayed here for 2 nights on the advice of our guidebook which said that this riad is absolutely perfect and I would have to agree! It’s a beautifully decorated riad, with friendly and helpful staff who speak English. They have a fireplace which was nice in February in the mountains and the room had a good heater. Very easy to find and well- mar... was die leute sagen » ked – though I’d recommend coming from Bab Souk as the riad is a bit closer to this than other medina entrances. Possibly the nicest roof of any riad - The staff was incredibly helpful....we were coming to Chefchaouen by private car and were unable to find our way to the entrance ....one of the guys came down to the town....bopped in our car and led us to the parking area and helped us take our bags to the Dar. The breakfast is hearty and fresh...much more than a typical carb overload...and the ambiance is lovely; fireplace going in the chilly morning...great terrasse to relax and take the sun in the afternoon . Great value and quite charming
