  We stayed in Kyoto for 6 nights at the Best Western and were thoroughly pleased. As soon as we arrived we were taken very well care of - the staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist us. They were also very warm and I could have a bit of a chat and laugh with them too which I love doing. Hotel location is absolutely perfect, in pedestrianized Rokkaku-dori, just off the busy Kawaramachi-dori, with hotel being well shielded from traffic by a large UniQlo shop. The room was excellent, not too small, clean and nicely decorated. A beautiful an relaxing place to stay, good for holidays and for a business trip.

  Everything was good. Comfortable bed, very nice onsen with indoor and outdoor bath, sauna. Very clean. Breakfast is well worth the money, open buffet style with plenty of choices (mainly japanese dishes). They have noodle soup after 9 pm, free of charge!   We had a 1 month trip around Japan :- Tokyo(Asakusa), Tokyo(Yokahama), a cruise, KYOTO, Hiroshima, Osaka & back via Helsinki. Metro station to the city centre & Old - This was one of the best hotels we stayed in Japan. The location was very easy, we just took the subway to reach Kokusaikaikan and the directions on the subway took us directly to the hotel. It was a very comfortable and nice room, with free internet. The buffet downstairs was very good for dinner and the surrounding environment was very nice and green. As my older daughter was in the room one day, they didn' t have oppurtinity to clean the room, so they presented us 500 JPY gift check for it.
