  Easy to get to, we found the place very easy as it was near the vaporatto stop. There is a really good map on the website that shows a red line of the path you should take to get there. Very convenient as it is close to everything. The internet worked well for the most part. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. the room price was justifiable. Annalisa was very helpful with tips to visit places, restaurants etc. I would go again to the same B&B if I visit Venice in future.

  Fantastic location (5-10 minutes to St Marco Square) and super friendly and helpful staff. Mario happily greeted us for a very late 11:30 PM check-in when our flight was delayed. A lovely breakfast of cheese, meat, eggs, fruit, pastries, cereals, juice and coffee/tea. Room was large and airy with a private courtyard. We were also given lots of tips on travel to less frequented outer islands on the vaporetto - For the price, it had just about everything. The shower room was spacious and well heated; the bedroom was fine; the breakfast room served a good range of food (although the bread was dry on one morning of our 4-day stay); the location was well-nigh perfect. Being able to store baggage after checking out was a boon.

  Absolutely loved it. The owner, Matteo came and met us at Rialto Bridge, from there it was a few minutes walk to the hotel. St Marks square was just a few minutes walk too. We were upgraded from out triple room (on the canal, which was delightful) to two very large adjoining rooms on the canal, with a double length balcony! It was stunning.   We arrived in the wrong place (San Luca Hotel)....but the owner called and the person from San Luca BB came to meet us and escort us to the B&B (really kind and above the level of what is required). As we arrived early in the morning, I wrote and they said they would be happy to even have us check in early. There is an Punto Simply (grocery) on - Location, location, location. You're literally minutes away from both the Rialto and Piazza San Marco. Yet, once you get inside the B&B, it feels more like home and the touristy/hectic buzz of the outside feels farther away. Service was excellent. If you can't be shown to your room yet (ie. you show up early) or you have a later flight to catch, they'll let you leave your bags with no hassle and will even serve you coffee in the common area.

If you do not mind this then Residenza la Loggia might be just the right place for your stay.   The location in the neighbourhood of the Salute church is ideal. When arriving with the vaporetto at the stops of Academia or Zattere, you can go with your luggage trolley to this B&B without CLIMBING over one bridge, just roll ! The room and the bathro - Probably the nicest place my girlfriend and I stayed at during our trip through Italy. (Admittedly, we were traveling on a budget and mostly renting through airbnb.) This is a true B&B, with Massimo and his wife coming in the morning to make us coffee. They were very friendly, telling us to make ourselves at home and opening up the various cakes and pastries in the kitchen. Venice is expensive, but Ca' Santo Spirito was fairly good value for city.
