It has a great feeling and you can meet the locals too. - The staff were so helpful as we were lost and they actually went out looking for part of our party. Amazing people in this town. We went to dinner late at night at a little restaurant down the road and found the staff there to be so open and engaging. We met the owner, a lovely young woman, and her staff and had a long visit about Italy, America, politics, etc. The food was fantastic...great pizza! Locanda BelSole was quaint and a bright spot on our vacation.

The rooms are large with a huge comfortable bed, well air-conditioned and quiet - We used this hotel for a night's stopover, just off the Autostrada. It was easy to find. The food, service and accomodation were all good to excellent.

  Hotel is a beautiful building, outside built with natural stones. We had a terrace in our room. It was great to wake up when birds were singing outside. There is no aircondition in the room so we kept windows and door open all the night. Breakfast was fine, you could sit outside watching the beautiful scenery towards mountains. There was a sign it was not allowed to swim in the pool after 7 pm, but we saw some people were swimming so perhaps it wasn´t so serious warnin - What a find - a real gem! The receptionist (David?) was so welcoming and friendly. It's great to be greeted so nicely after a very, very long drive. The kids were straight into the outdoor pool to unwind. The staff in the restaurant were also lovely, cheerful and obliging. We really felt like our Italian holiday had begun when we arrived here and were sorry that it was only a one night stopover (on our way to Elba) as we would love to have stayed for longer!

  Sehr liebevoll und persönlich geführtes B&B. Tolles Frühstück. Super nette Leute. Wer eine ruhige Unterkunft abseits des Touristenrummels sucht ist genau richtig. Achtung: es ist wirklich sehr ruhig in Casale. - Excellent in every respect. Wonderful room and premises - spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable. Outstanding breakfast... was die leute sagen » . Extremely kind/attentive owners. Internet connection, although "wired", was reliable with reasonable speed. Great place in bucolic setting - ideal if you want to be near Cinque Terre but not have to cope with the (relative) hustle and bustle of those towns. A car is an absolute must. - Edda and Ubaldo are among the warmest people we have ever met. They were immensely helpful and kind in all respects. They went out of their way to provide guidance to us in our visit to the Cinque Terre. In addition, their breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. La Meridiana is immaculate and a tranquil respite from the congestion of the Cinque Terre.

Rosanna is such a nice host, and breakfast is exceptional, homemade and abundant.
