  Sylvia, the host, was extremely kind and helpful. Her daughter, Margherita, speaks good English and French. Breakfast was excellent with home made cakes and marmallade. It is located in a small village, but supermarket and pharmacy are nearby - 5 mins walk. There is a nearby river where it is nice to swim and one can bring also dogs. It has a great feeling and you can meet the locals too. - The staff were so helpful as we were lost and they actually went out looking for part of our party. Amazing people in this town. We went to dinner late at night at a little restaurant down the road and found the staff there to be so open and engaging. We met the owner, a lovely young woman, and her staff and had a long visit about Italy, America, politics, etc. The food was fantastic...great pizza! Locanda BelSole was quaint and a bright spot on our vacation.

The owners, Alessandro and Loredana, are a young couple who runs the establishment with the most professional, friendly way. The rooms are large with a huge comfortable bed, well air-conditioned and quiet - We used this hotel for a night's stopover, just off the Autostrada. It was easy to find. The food, service and accomodation were all good to excellent.

  Hotel is a beautiful building, outside built with natural stones. We had a terrace in our room. It was great to wake up when birds were singing outside. There is no aircondition in the room so we kept windows and door open all the night. Breakfast was fine, you could sit outside watching the beautiful scenery towards mountains. There was a sign it was not allowed to swim in the pool after 7 pm, but we saw some people were swimming so perhaps it wasn´t so serious warnin - What a find - a real gem! The receptionist (David?) was so welcoming and friendly. It's great to be greeted so nicely after a very, very long drive. The kids were straight into the outdoor pool to unwind. The staff in the restaurant were also lovely, cheerful and obliging. We really felt like our Italian holiday had begun when we arrived here and were sorry that it was only a one night stopover (on our way to Elba) as we would love to have stayed for longer!

  Accueil très chaleureux, conseils avisés pour le tourisme, chambres bien équipées, petit déjeuner copieux. L'hotel me semble très récent, il est charmant. Il est situé dans un petit village coquet, restau familial sympa à proximité, super pratique (et bon!) après une journée de ballade dans les cinq terres. Le premier village, monterosso, étant à... ce que les gens disent » vingt minutes environ en voiture. c'est là que l'on laissait la voiture pour visiter le reste des cinq terres (marche, train ou bateau). Terrasses à - Vraiment très bien. Le couple de propriétaires est charmant. Très attentionné et de bon conseil. Nous avions loué deux chambres. Nous ont proposé, pour le même prix, un petit appartement et une chambre pour que l'on soit en vis-à-vis et non pas sur deux étages. Le seul petit inconvénient, l'éloignement des villages des 5 terres, est largement compensé par leur gentillesse et par le confort de l'hôtel. Le petit déjeuner, avec des gâteaux maison, est délicieux. De plus, le petit restaurant situé
