When we asked the best way to get to the b&b the restaurant called the staff at the b&b and they dispatched the shuttle bus to come and collect us.   This is one of the loveliest places I can remember staying. The hotel is right on Lake Como - from my lake view room I could hear the sound of the water. The food at the restaurant is excellent - not overly fussy, just delicious. The rooms aren't huge, but they are very comfortable, and nicely decorated. Bellagio is a beautiful spot, very romantic, and the views are breathtaking. - We liked the place very much. Everything is perfect - location, rooms, breakfast etc. There are a lot of reviews regarding the host - we liked the guys! Yes, they maybe are not very very open to you, but they are very polite, friendly, helpful. We had several situations when we had to consult them and when we needed their help - everything was just great! We would recommend the hotel to everyone!

  We loved everything about the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni! We made our reservation based on a recommendation from a well-travelled, trusted friend, and we were not disappointed. The entire facility is pristine, despite it's age. Our room overlooked the garden and was right next to the church. It was lovely in every sense of the word. The windows opene - Superbly located on water's edge with magnificent outlook over the lake to the western shore. We were upgraded to a junior suite, which was very spacious (two rooms plus excellent bathroom) with lake view. Staff were pleasant and helpfull with no trace of pretension or snobbishness. Dinner in Mistral restaurant, while expensive, was superb and good value. As a bit of a splurge, Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni really delivered and is on our bucket-list for a return visit!

  Our room was a good sized room for four people (two adults, two kids 9 and 11). We were traveling by car. Parking place was big and safe. Easy to drive to the hotel, right where the road to the mountain starts. Great views over the lake on the mountain! Walk to the town was fare, only 10 minutes, not too hilly. Tennis court in front of our room's b - This is a lovely hotel located within a ten minute walk of the marina in Bellagio from which you can catch the ferry across/around the lake. The room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. We had a quiet room with lovely large windows. Reception was welcoming and knowledgeable of the area, providing answers to all of our questions in English. Breakfast was served in a large cheerful room with a good selection of breads, meats, cheeses, yogurts and pastries. A really good start to the day

  We loved the location, at the top of the street directly to the lakeside. Gaia is an amazing host! Welcoming and friendly, and gave us some great ideas of places to visit in the area. The location is simply stunning, and the views spectacular. Local wi-fi points are close by, which makes up for the lack of internet access in the apartment.
