  We had a clean, spacious and comfortable room with a great shower. Breakfast is good, hot food, coffee and juice. The location is not too far from town - it takes about 20 minutes to walk or you can jump on the bus that stops out the front and runs up the main street of Cork. This is a good choice considering how expensive some of the places right in town are. We really liked Cork and definitely got - Almost everything! The location is perfect, the owners are decent, lovely, kind and very helpful. Couldn't ask for a better host. The value for our money in the room we got was excellent. The breakfast is everything we wanted plus it's served with a smile from the owners. How can you not have an enjoyable stay in such a place not too mention they got free WiFi. I will recommend the place to our friends anytime. Will go back there if we get a chance.

  The facilities at Achill House were very good and this combined with the friendliness of the staff, made the stay very enjoyable. As I have a partial disability, the staff were excellent in helping me cope with the stairs and we were offered a choice of different rooms to suit my disability. I would certainly recommend this B&B to anybody staying in the Cork a - The staff is very friendy, and any issue you may have they will try to solve it. The room i was given it was in the ground floor close to the main door, so I ask for another one on the top, and I was changed without problem. As well in the room was a little bit cold and the staff turn on the heater. Also I was offered a tea and cookies when I arrived. The hostal is 10 min walking to san patrick street, when i stayed it was quiet and i had a good rest there, the beds are quite comfortable.

  Freundlicher Service - Lovely old manor house with a very large parking area out front. Were greeted right away by the Lodge's owner who helped us with our luggage. The rooms were beautiful, large and clean overlooking their garden area.   Everything! The room was very spacious and luxurious for the price. The beds were wonderfully comfortable (again one would expect to pay more!) and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Margaret the owner is a lovely hostess and we will definitely stay again when visiting cork. The Crawford is also in such a great location, a very short walk into the centre of town - The rooms were lovely, big and clean. The price is very reasonable considering how close you are to the city and how nicely decorated the rooms are. There was a nice breakfast and they catered for gluten-free diets. Cork city was only a ten minute walk away, and it's right by the college.

  We liked everything! There was a warm welcome on reception and the apartment was clean and comfortable. Being relatively cheap compared to BnBs nearby we were expecting basic but everything we could want was provided, including towels and tea and coffee sachels on arrival. As student accommodation there was also lundary and computer facilities. It is about a 20 minute straight walk into to - Very central,clean facilities!no noise suitable for all the family.   Excellent Meals, although getting tea at breakfast was hard work. Had dinner at hotel one night and next night attended a formal function (with 350 others) at hotel and food and service were really excellent in both cases. - The refurbishment of the hotel has been a complete success. The room upgrades are excellent.
