We went to relax and it was perfect. A 5 minute walk to the village centre & 10 minutes to the beach.
We did not eat at the hotel but others that did said the food was good, the village had some lovely places to eat and drink, we recommend the 2-Star restaurant.

Pool/garden area was very nice. Lots of books in the "book swap" area. Clean. Although the hotel is situated right at the main entrance road into Agios Stefanos our room at the back of the hotel was very quiet.

Well, the staff is really friendly, the atmosphere is great, breakfast is quite good. Food in the restaurant is also tasty, just I personally didn't like chips as garnish in almost every dish. Yes, and lasagne could be also better))) A bigger variety of vegetables would be nice. We had no problems with wifi. The sea was clean and warm, the beach is quite cosy, just a pity that many people smoked there, leaving cigarette ends everywhere around. It would be a good idea to organise a smoking area.

The personal was very helpful and friendly, almost like you are at your relatives house. Also we were looking to get a room with garden view, possibly on ground floor because of kids (also these rooms have been renewed), but we were on second floor, but to be honest we did not explicitly ask for it when booking, but we consider that it was a family hotel and that they would put us on ground floor because of the kids; lesson for next time. The staff is friendly and helpful, they even helped us solving an issue that wasn't related to the hotel. The fact that a member of the staff spoke a perfect Italian was very helpful and made things a lot easier for us. The position is perfect: it is located near Laganas centre but in a quiet zone, so you don't get disturbed by the noise. The pool is good but it's the last thing you need with such a beautiful sea. The most hospitable staff ever - Billy knows what you would ask before you do! His mother Hara who is cooking is wonderful! The owners were absolutely fantastic: very friendly, smiling, helpful, but not intrusive. Cold water in the fridge and a nice bottle of their own produced wine on arrival, a nice gardenia in a pot on departure (on our request). Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms, large terrace, all amenities. The garden is like a piece of heaven! Location very good, close to the beach but quite. We really enjoyed Harris and for sure will come back!
