  The location was really good close to other hotels and shopping area by car or bus. The staff are well spoken and very nice. The design of the hotel is brilliant :) The beach was clean and nice, its a pebbles beach not sandy though.   Very nice and spacious and well maintained 2 floor apartments with everything you need (for families who like to serve themselves). Fun to go by taxi b - Amazing hotel in a very convenient location in Symi's port. The hotel has been build as a small village where all rooms lead to the main square which the common garden of the hotel. Very clean with spacious room and very friendly staff. From the first floor some of the rooms have views to the village but there is no view to the sea. This is not a problem because the hotel has lovely gardens and in general the environment is very calming. Highly recommended.

I am not writing this as a negative as our group was more then happy to save the money we did and just walk. Two out of the 4 days we rented scooters so the distance from town to hotel wasn't a big deal. You can rent scooters for 20Euro a day. The money you save staying at Hillside vs. a - The staff at the hotel are amazing and they gives a warm and personal service for everyone, and they really took care of us all! From Jumped by car to places needed to build personalized menu meals. Acceptance active 24/7 and when we arrived at 12 at night there were people accept us. The food is good, we took half board-it says breakfast included and the option to choose between lunch or evening. It lay that sometimes we wanted to eat lunch and sometimes at night. Accommodation is very close to supermarkets and bike rental is across the road. Great cycling paths either direction from apt block.
