The hotel is fairly new but everything seemed tastefully appointed and well furnished without being cluttered and no where felt cramped or badly designed. The bathroom was large and well equipped as well. The staff were very friendly and efficie - staff willing to help. We arrived late and they were very helpful. The staff also was able to give us help and useful hints for traveling in France. Staff also helped with us getting public transportation to Paris. The hotel offered a great breakfast with a wide variety of items to chose from.

  My friend and I had a comfortable, roomy and clean triple room with private bathroom, quiet at the back of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast with plenty of choice including fresh fruit and scrambled egg and French type bacon. The bedroom and bathroom were was lighter and brighter than shown in the photos with clean white towel... was die leute sagen » s each day in the bathroom. Only about a 10 minute walk to the station for the shuttle bus to Giverny for Monet's garden and a good bar for an evening - Vernon is very close to Giverny (4 kilometers) which is why we chose this hotel. It was quite reasonable for 2 nights at 176 Euro. Basic hotel rooms....no frills but fine and clean. Restaurant good and lounge for drinks for tea very comfortable with leather overstuffed chairs. Staff very helpful. Walking to the village, church, museum and restaurants within minutes. Sweet village.
