  Die Betreiber der Auberge de Catherine waren sehr freundlich und es hat alles prima geklappt auch ohne französisch Kenntnisse. Das Zimmer war zwar recht klein und für einen längeren Aufenthalt etwas zu beengt, aber es war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und mit vielen Accessoires: dekoriert. Mike made us a hot tea delivered with biscuits real treat after a long day's drive. Helen's dinner was fantastic, we would definitely have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone.

  We used Briancon as a base from which to explore the area by car. This hotel was ideal because it is easy to find from the main roads into Briancon and parking is free and plentiful. We had a room with a kitchen and the nearby supermarket and other shops were very convenient. A modern and very well maintained hotel. - It's attached to the Ibis hotel (same entrance) but about €13 cheaper for basically the same. Our room had a wonderful view of the snowcapped mountains and a small enclosed balcony to view them from. It shares a large carpark with the Ibis and the shopping centre which makes for easy parking and access to supermarket, great patisserie and lovely wine shop. Easy to find, just head for the Ibis.
